Subject: A Library, Podcast & Forum around key statutory and compliance matters for CSOs


Hello,

Greetings from CS Sharad Bhargava from (Saathi Development Services), Suresh Ponnappa from (Rohini Nilekani Philanthropies Foundation) and, Shemeer Babu & Pooja T from (aikyamfellows).

We understand that a dedicated resources repository around statutory and regulatory matters for NPOs is a challenge and an urgent need for staff working in Finance and leadership roles in NPOs considering the complexity and pace of changes. We have conceptualised and developed In September 2024, a few of us came together to start PATTIC (People’s Alliance for Trust & Transparency in CSOs) which is as an online collective to make of trustworthy and transparency tools. accessible to all civil society organisations (CSOs) in India.

We started by putting together resources around key statutory and compliance matters applicable to NGOs in India like Code for Taxation, CSR Laws, FCRA, FCRR, Fund Accounting, Budget Management, Grant Management, Risks and Control, and Social Security Laws. PATTIC brings access to statutory and regulatory matters for NPOs We are happy to sharein 3 ways to access these resources:

  3. PATTIC Forum which facilitates interaction, helps in asking and answering questions online, facilitates Need discussing?      community.
